TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR ELECTRONCIS SOFTWARE Technical Support If you need technical assistance with any of our products, you can reach our technical support staff at 01480 382538, or via email at support@numberone.com. No other number can be used or transferred to the support desk. Our technical support desk is open between 10:00am and 4:00pm Monday to Friday. If you find the phone is busy or a voicemail is requested, please leave a message or send an email and someone will call you back. You need to provide the following each time: your Customer Reference Number, the product type and its revision number (found on the Help About dialog), your name and company name. Please have this to hand before phoning the technical desk. Ohio Automation can also assist you with technical support issues. On-line Help An On-line help system is available with Easy-PC For Windows. This contains information about the product and answers frequently asked questions. You can access this through the Help menu within the product, by pressing the F1 key, or by selecting the Help icon on the Number One Systems program menu. Updates Updates are available free to registered users within the 1 month free update warranty period. Outside that period (which starts at the date of invoice), a nominal fee will be charged to enable you to get the latest version of the product and continued support. We are unable to issue bug fixes on any version other than the current release version. In order for this to work successfully, it is essential that any problems are reported to us before your warranty period has expired. To take full advantage of the free update service you must complete and return the User Registration Form enclosed. Please check our latest product versions for the latest release information. Alternatively you can download a software patch directly from our download library to get up to date with the latest revision. Users without a web connection will need to apply to Number One Systems for the update. Upgrades Upgrades from any of our DOS products to a Windows version are available from Number One Systems, please contact us for more information. For existing Easy-PC For Windows users who have a pin limited variant, you can upgrade to one of the other variants for the difference in list price at any time. On-Site Visits We do not provide on-site support for any problems. Consultancy is available if required but is charged for. Year 2000 Compliance We do not provide any form of support for products which are earlier versions than that listed on our Year 2000 Compliance page. Before any support can be given on these products you must update to a supported version. Please see the list for specific products. Consultancy With a wealth of experience in the PCB design and manufacturing marketplace, we are able to offer a technical consultancy service on many aspects of design, manufacture and software development. Our service is also available for special unscheduled software projects for features or facilities not in the current product(s). We have already successfully developed some new facilities and converters for customers who have approached us through this service. With over 120 man years of software development we are able to offer many diverse solutions to problems which might arise. Please contact our sales team for more information or to discuss your requirements. Training We are able to offer training on-site and in a 'class' situation for all of our products. Please contact our sales team for more information on what can be offered and to get an idea of the costs involved. Top of page TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR ICAMPS MINING SOFTWARE If the user is already proficient with AutoCAD, on-site training may not be necessary. The documentation includes a tutorial that covers all the basic steps in creating grids, mine layout, machine sequencing and scheduling. Usually a few days of on-site training is recommended. Telephone support is always available, but the typical user rarely has need for technical assistance after formal training. Problems that cannot be resolved over the telephone can always be handled by e-mail. Ohio Automation continually updates and enhances ICAMPS. New releases are issued approximately twice a year and are included in the maintenance fee. Hardware and Software Requirements Windows 95/98/NT/2000 AutoCAD R14, Map, AutoCAD 2000/2000i/2002 Hardware requirements are the same as the requirements for the version of AutoCAD you are using. In general ICAMPS will work on whatever machines and operating systems that AutoCAD will work on.
